The Las Vegas Service Business Report

This is not a census of Las Vegas, NV. It describes the businesses on TopRatedLV, which are drawn from Google Places within roughly 16 miles of the city center and admitted only if they held at least 4.0 stars from 15 or more reviews at the time we found them. Businesses below that bar, and those with too few reviews to judge, are absent by design. Read every figure here as describing the top-rated end of each trade.

Ratings and review counts are Google’s, refreshed on a rolling basis; they are not our scores and cannot be bought. Categories holding fewer than a minimum number of businesses are excluded from the table entirely, because statistics over a handful of firms describe those firms rather than a market.

“Rating spread” is the 90th percentile rating minus the 10th, reported only where enough businesses carry a rating for those percentiles to mean something. A small spread means the field is bunched; a large one means quality genuinely varies. Every number on this page is computed from the listings you can browse on this site, so any of it can be checked.
