Across the 19 businesses we track, the median rating is 4.9★ across 15,642 combined customer reviews.
16 of the 19 have cleared the toughest bar — 4.8★ with at least 50 reviews.
Ratings here run from 4.6★ to 5.0★, and the typical business carries 717 reviews.
No single business dominates: the most-reviewed holds just 15% of the category's reviews, so the field is genuinely competitive.
Review depth varies widely — the most-reviewed business carries 2,367 reviews against a 823 average — so weigh each rating against how many customers stand behind it.
What's different about Plumbing in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has some of the hardest tap water in the country. Scale builds up fast in water heaters, fixtures, pipes, and pool equipment, so ask about descaling, whole-home softening, and how mineral buildup affects the warranty on anything water-touching.
What to look for in a plumber
A great plumber should be licensed and insured in Nevada — ask for the license number and proof of liability coverage before any work starts. Reputable companies give clear, written estimates instead of vague ranges, and they explain the problem in plain language rather than upselling repairs you do not need.
Look for steady local reviews, a real service area around Las Vegas, and upfront answers about emergency call-out fees. The best ones stand behind their work with a written warranty on both parts and labor, so a fix that fails next month gets handled at no extra cost.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a plumber cost in Las Vegas?
Most local plumbers charge a service-call or diagnostic fee, then quote the repair separately. A simple fix like a faucet or a running toilet costs far less than a water-heater replacement or main-line work, so pricing varies widely with the job. Always get an itemized estimate in writing before approving the work.
Are these plumbers licensed and insured?
We feature established businesses, but licensing should always be confirmed directly. Ask any plumber for their Nevada license number and current proof of insurance — a trustworthy company will share both without hesitation.
What should I do in a plumbing emergency?
Shut off the water at the fixture or your home’s main valve to limit damage, then call a plumber that offers emergency service. Many of the companies here answer after-hours calls; ask about call-out fees up front so there are no surprises on the bill.
How quickly can a plumber come out?
For urgent issues like burst pipes or no hot water, many Las Vegas plumbers offer same-day or emergency visits. For routine work — a new fixture, a remodel, or a maintenance check — booking a few days ahead usually gets you a better rate and a scheduled window.
Why you can trust this list
Every business featured on TopRatedLV has earned at least a 4.0-star rating from 15 or more real customer reviews — if a company has not cleared that bar, you will not find it here. Those scores come from aggregated public reviews, not from us, and a business cannot pay to raise its rating.
We update our data periodically so the plumbers you see reflect how they are serving Las Vegas today. Listings marked as verified have confirmed their business details directly.
